I enjoyed the the jetpack although I didn’t like the fact that is was a star card, although having it default equipped would have been overpowering I guess. I've put over 2200 hrs in and I'll keep going until they shut the servers down. There's a good number of us who still stream it often. I've also seen a few people coming back, or even picking up the game cheap. DLCs are harder to find - esp Scarif - but they're still around (I was on Bespin for a while last night). It's been a little slower lately but there's most always about 2-3K people playing on PS4. To me, Walker Assault never felt that way, unless the other team was tryharding and basically spawnkilling everyone so you couldn't even make it near the uplinks. And most of those feel like those inside uplinks on Sullust, where it's crazy hard to breach sometimes. It's a constant all out push to crash the chokepoint/objective. You get flanked/cheesed by someone, even if you try. You're almost always outnumbered - never just a 1 on 1 gunfight. There's no chill moments, no simple fun - simple engagements. Like, I feel like all of BF2 feels like that last push on Extraction Jabba's palace. The lack of modes with heroes on BF2 annoys me - you basically play either HVV or GA. The gun play I think is more varied/better ( like, seriously, do you ever change guns on BF2? There's literally only 1-2 viable guns per class.) There's more mode variations, especially those that include Heroes. There's a certain feel that BF2 just doesn't capture. That's just low priority and I doubt much of it will happen. There's a lot of us who want the fantastic content from BF2015 to be saved and brought over. And that takes a lot of time - time everyone wants them to spend on new content rather than rehashing old stuff. Build up some sort of stairs or something so people can get to the high ground. So, they definitely have to rework the maps to fit BF2 gameplay and mechanics. Vertical gameplay mixes things up and we don't have much of that in BF2. Half the fun was people trying to be snipers from up there. Like, Jumptroopers and force Heroes (and Boba, obv) could, but no one else. Just bringing Jakku over would suck, because you can't get on top of the ship - which was a key component of that map. BF2015 maps are awesome but they're designed to work around how that game played. That's one of the key things I don't think people consider. r/StarWarsBattlefront subreddit statistics!
